MEET THE TEAM!
Our Team
Aimee Hopkin, PMHNP
Psychiatric Nurse PractitionerAimee has spent most of her career caring for women through some of the biggest transitions in their lives. Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, she worked in labor and delivery and women’s health research, and that experience shaped the way she sees mental health now: hormones, physical health, sleep, stress, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause all matter.
She especially loves working with women who feel like something has changed and they can’t quite explain why. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PMDD, pregnancy and postpartum mental health, and the emotional changes that can come with perimenopause and menopause.
Aimee is warm, direct, practical, and very comfortable with complicated stories. She wants patients to understand their treatment and feel like they are making decisions together, not just being handed a prescription.
She also provides inclusive, queer-friendly care and welcomes people of all identities and family structures.
Outside of work, Aimee loves theater, travel, the mountains, entertaining people she loves, gardening (it's not as boring as it sounds) and finding any reasonable excuse to go to Disneyland.
Nurse PractitionerTara Udy, FNP
Tara has spent the last 17 years caring for women, with the past four years devoted to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care as a Family Nurse Practitioner. That experience has deepened her interest in the connection between physical health, mental health, and the many changes women experience throughout their lives.
She especially enjoys working with women navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PMDD, maternal mental health, perimenopause, and menopause. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she also has a strong interest in PCOS, endometriosis, weight management, nutrition, and overall wellness.
Tara takes time to really get to know her patients. She believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healthcare and wants patients to understand the “why” behind what they’re experiencing and the options available to them. Her goal is to help women feel informed, supported, and actively involved in their care.
Outside of work, Tara loves spontaneous road trips, traveling, reading whenever she can find the time, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. And if she’s not at the office, there’s a decent chance she ran away to Disneyland with Aimee.
